We don’t just inspect your home.
We give you peace of mind.
Peace of mind through professionalism, reliability, and experience
I will accompany you through a walk-through and inspection of the home you’re interested in buying, and assess its condition using my multi-point home inspection checklist. I will take the time needed to provide the detailed inspection that’s required.
Get the best value out of your home by being ready to impress potential buyers. If you are listing your home on the market and would like to have its condition assessed beforehand, MounTN Home Inspections is here to help.
If you’re considering a home with a private well, testing for safe drinking water is a must. I have water samples tested for bacterial contaminants by Watauga River Authority, the Elizabethton water utility, which is a state certified lab. Results are generally provided within 48 hours of sampling.
Radon is colorless, odorless, and extremely carcinogenic. It can affect homes anywhere in the US, and the only way to check for elevated levels of radon in your home is with testing.
Whether you are buying, selling, or maintaining your home, MounTN Home Inspections provides professional and quality service from the moment you call. I have decades of experience in Property Management, Development, Construction Project Management, and Renovations Project Management; I have spent my career in some aspect of the Real Estate Industry and understand better than most how to help rather than hinder the home buying process.
During the inspection, I will walk through your home with you and teach you as much as you want to learn. I strictly follow the Standards of Practice for home inspectors established by the State of Tennessee and InterNACHI, the leading home inspection association.
After we walk through the home together, I will explain the general condition of the home and systems with you and your agent. We will talk through any major issues that need to be addressed sooner rather than later. I will also mention the items that you will want to keep an eye on for deferred maintenance. All of this will be detailed in an easy-to-read Spectora report, which will be delivered in HTML and/or PDF format. From that report, you will be able to see the items we discussed, with images for reference.

Everyone involved, especially the buyers and sellers need to understand and know the condition of the property. Throughout my experiences, I have found it is imperative to communicate and work directly with the client to ensure they understand what to expect from the Home Inspection process and how to feel comfortable about one of the largest purchases they’ll ever make.
My job is to make sure the client understands all aspects of the inspection process, and I do not stop there. Should you have any questions or concerns after the report you are encouraged to give me a call and I will provide you with an explanation of the report and options to assist you in making a confident decision about your property.
